SHOCKING: LTO SURPRISE VIOLATIONS

LTO Violation Ticket

Just this first week of January I have to visit our nearest Land Transportation Office for renewing my vehicle registration. I am not a frequent visitor in our local LTO office but as require once in every year, and being an owner of a motorized vehicle, I am required to renew my registration. Every year i have no problems during my registration process, but this year shocked the wits out of me. After passing my filled out form on the first window of the process, my papers were returned to me accompanied by a very shocking find that I had an Alarm (That's what they told me "Sir you have an alarm") It only means one thing in LTO vocabulary, "Violation". I followed it up to the violations section, only to find out that the violation was made on "January 14, 2010" Shock hit me, that's a friggin "2 Years Ago Violation", I didn't even know how that happened, was it me or was it my dad who was driving that time. All I know is that it's freaking insane.

But its the law, and I paid P477 pesos for it so that I could finish my registration within the day. After a couple of hours not to mention the 30 minute interval that I have to wait for the violation to be removed, and the fact that every year during January registrations doesn't have validation stickers available. So, a law is a law and no man is above the law (except those who knows what they are doing) we respect in our beloved country.

So, to help you guys a bit here is a small tip before you go an get yourself brushed out for money during renewal of registration:

75th ARAW NG DABAW - SILVER ANNIVERSARY

March is here.....of course its not Oktoberfest. Davao City is proud to celebrate the 75th year Araw ng Dabaw. With a silver anniversary in existence, Davao is pumped up to party.

Despite the major issues of nationwide impeachment, and local buzz, expecialy Davao's bad days. Although its still fresh of how crime rates streaked up to a high point, Davao is still Davao and with it the people who wants to have some fun under the sun.

March, marks the pre-start of the summer season in the RP. That is why in opening the season, Araw ng Dabaw is held, I think. But you'd be surprised to know how people anticipate these kind of events. It more that a day celebration really, its a monthlong due process of celebration.

So, people who knows how fun it is on Davao within this month is surely will have a blast. Come one and come all and have fun.

And here we are the MAin entrance.
I will update with live photos next time...~~~

The new SM City Lanang in Davao City.

Soon, this is where I would hang out. Why? It's as much as closest to home. I would just walk my way to the mall. (Tambay hangtod gabi-i.)

Situated in the 2nd half of JP. Laurel avenue is the newest soon to open SM Mall in Davao City. It's a whooping 44 Hectares of land where the previous Lanang Golf and Country Club was situated.

In addition to this, IMAX has also introduced itself to put an ImaX Theater in Davao.

No, they are not going to consume all land just for a mall, but, they are making it a business posh as seen on the image above.

The compound would include SM mall itself, BPO/IT parks, Sports center and residential condos and townhouses.

It would be an easier access to the people living in the North side of Davao City.

Dining, Shopping and Fun is to b found in the upcoming SM City Lanang..

It would also mean additional jobs.

A Much Awaited Flight Franchise, Has LandeD

Do we have flights from Davao City to Singapore?

Some relatives ask me whenever the're having their vacation here in Davao. I say yes, of course we already have SilkAir to do that. And they would reply, but they're so expensive, even though they have sale seats it is still too expensive.

Expensive is what haunted the vacation goers since Silk Air opened, wanting to visit Singapore flying from Davao City.

So what now? Starting in November, Tiger Airways has opened new gates to Singapore through Davao City(yaaay). They will be flying 3 times a week, and of course as far as vacation goers hears of Tiger Air, "CHEAP SEATS" (more yaaay!)

Tiger Airways have seen the potential in flying from Davao to Singapore as a big investment. It has been long running of rumors of Davao City trying to connect to Singapore through added flights in a week.

Not only will this satisfy Vacationist but will also be an added stepping stone of the future developments of our beloved City.

Though this act Business Ventures and most of all the Information Technology Investors are longing to tackle new heights in Davao City.

I can't wait for November.
